Class Action Law Suits Defined
The Class Action Law deals with cases where a group of individuals could file up a case on a company which has in some way injured them with its actions. In many cases it would be the members of the company who come forward to put up a case when they are not satisfied with the actions of the company. Cases or disputes which arise in a company with the members would be when the company would not pay the workers legally as promised or other cases when the members in it face difficulties due to many reasons. Another face of this law can be viewed in situations where a group of people file a case on a company which produce products, which on consuming could cause death, for example a drug manufacturing company. This form of lawsuit where a group comes together with a similar problem originated in the United States and later went on to spread to some European countries. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 23 and 28 U.S.C.A and 1332 (d), governs the class actions in the United States federal courts.
